The Mission
The School of International Business Administration (SIBA) at SHUFE
is committed to the advancement of knowledge, the
improvement of students¡¯ problem solving, management and
professional capabilities, and the enhancement of values to
organizations and society at large. We strive to provide an
environment of academic freedom, endless intellectual
inquiries, and a liberal foundation that encourages
creative/critical thinking, leadership and esprit de corps,
a ladder of opportunities that inspire and enable our
excellent student body to develop their academic,
entrepreneurial, leadership and other capabilities to their
full potential.
Our guiding principle is to capitalize on a well-founded
multidisciplinary curricula combining economics and other
social sciences, emphasizing a countinous interaction of
teaching, research and practices, strengthening the
international connections, fostering faculty development
with academic competency and capability in intellectural
contributions, to be matched by a highly efficient
infrastructure of teaching and research supporting forces.
The Visions
Guided by applied theoretical teaching and research, in five years
we aim to turn SIBA into one of the most respectable
research business school in China with particular
strengthens in eight disciplines ranging from Industrial
Organization, Business Administration, International Trading
to Marketing, with high caliber scholars, teachers, learners
and students who excellent in today and tomorrow¡¯s business
